Today, we’ll take a look at the Cardano pricing and see more information about Walmart entering into the crypto and NFT space. We’ll also be looking into an update that’s come to the Cardano network as well as the launch of SundaeSwap.
The launch of SundaeSwap is said to be creating some effects on the Cardano ecosystem, so we’ll look at this and wrap up with an interesting investor platform that’s launching into the Cardano space. And we’ll, of course, review the things with Smart Contract Made Easy (SCEZ) and see where things are going.
The price of crypto has been pretty crazy over the last couple of days. We’ve seen the market drop real low, and the Ada has dropped as low as around the $1 mark. This trend has followed the entire crypto market, including Bitcoin and Ethereum.
This isn’t really super surprising as the whole market in general, both stocks and crypto, have all been actually pretty hammered. Although the market looks sick, we’re still bullish on Cardano and I’m just taking this as an opportunity to buy into the dip. So as far as I’m concerned, this is actually good news for me. And please do keep in mind that this is strictly not a financial advice but a personal opinion.
In an interesting new update, Walmart is reportedly considering to create their own cryptocurrency and NFTs. The brand is one of the largest retailers in the entire world, and it’ll be fascinating to see what happens when they do something like taking part in the crypto space.
Walmart is not the first major brand to be considering to enter the crypto space. Sports brands Adidas and Under Armour have already started creating and selling NFTs. Joining the race with them is Nike, which has filed trademarks and announced their plans to offer virtual products to their customers.
Next up, we have a new update out on Cardano, the Daedalus Flight 4.8.0, that now allows the node to be able to run on lower-end hardware. The new release is out and it fully supports Cardano node v1.33.0. The new update includes full re-synchronization, and it features notable performance optimization.
The update aims to enable the Cardano node runtime system (RTS). With this, Cardano is able to utilize less memory on computers below 16 GB of RAM. So this is a major step taken for experienced ADA community activists.
In other news, we have SundaeSwap out live as of Thursday. This will help Cardano in scaling the roadmap in 2022. However, the launch of SundaeSwap has taken off with a little bit of a rocky start as users are complaining about not receiving their tokens.
The most of the problems rise up when users try to swap Cardano’s ADA tokens for SundaeSwap’s token Sunday. The transactions are in general taking so long, and users have even reported failed transactions.
However, SundaeSwap has warned us in advance, almost a week before its launch, that we’ll see a large of amount congestion and problems that follows. SundaeSwap is Cardano’s first ever really major launch to date, so these problems caused by network congestion has been anticipated way before the launch.
The good news is that we’ll see these problems ease up fairly quickly, and we’re expecting things to back to normal as soon as Monday.
Then, we have KICK.IO, a launchpad to help and find help for crypto projects. KICK.IO is a verified project credibility – a great place for people to start making investment in crypto projects, as well as raise investments if you’re seeking investments for your crypto project.
